AAA Honors Hoosier Heroes
This has been a year of both extraordinary sacrifice and service. So many have given so much in assistance to our Indiana region. As our way of thanking those who have made a positive impact in others’ lives at a troubling time, AAA sought to provide peace of mind to those who brought peace of mind to so many others. Whether an essential worker, first responder, health care professional, senior caregiver, mask maker, food pantry worker, school meal packer, virtual learning assistant, or anyone who went above and beyond to make life easier for others – they are the unsung heroes guiding us through the uncharted territory of a pandemic and beyond.
As a result, AAA Hoosier Motor Club announced it was donating $25,000 in AAA memberships to local heroes, as nominated by friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, and others during the COVID-19 crisis around the world and particularly within our Hoosier communities.

Be Prepared as You Hit the Road this Winter
When travel bans began lifting this summer, Americans began traveling again - taking more than 700 million trips. Not surprisingly, their preferred mode of transportation was the automobile. Road trips accounted for 97% of all trips...a significant increase. We see this trend continuing during the holiday season, be it driving to visit relatives or merely chasing a change of scenery.
